FREE GIVEAWAY
I will choose one "comment" to be the winner of a FREE Just Curves Template Set as a reward for sharing your thoughts. If you use your Curve Master, tell me what you've accomplished, or maybe, what you need help with. If you don't yet own a Curve Master, maybe tell me why you "need" one because of previous disasters ending up in the UFO pile!
I have now closed that "competition" and am pleased to announce that I've chosen BRONWYN from Melbourne as the WINNER! I've emailed Bronwyn announcing hers as the chosen posting to receive a FREE Just Curves Template Set. CONGRATULATIONS!
One kind blogger gave a friend's review of using the Curve Master after having purchased one from my stand at this year's Craft & Quilt Fair in Perth. May I share with you her excitement in using it by giving the link to her blog.
If you wish to read all the postings please do so here.
During 2011, I'll be holding another Patchwork Retreat which will include using the Curve Master as well as exploring the versatility of using the complete patchwork system offered by Westalee Design Rulers. Expressions of interest only are now being taken until I finalize all the details.
Have you seen the new Ivy's Garden Template Set from Westalee? There's a free pattern for making a beautiful hexagon block on my website too using just your Westalee Adjustable Ruler.
After our recent Machine Embroidery Retreat when students returned home, one student emailed me requesting which was the Tearaway Stabilizer we had provided students with in class? Seems as though she had commenced a new project and was using whatever was the Tearaway she had purchased at her local shop, but with all sorts of problems occurring with this particular project. When she changed to the leftover piece from our Retreat it all worked perfectly with no hiccups that she had been previously experiencing.
Yes, I know you all want to know which one then? There are many great Tearaways, but this particular one was Mac Tearaway Medium Stabilizer which tears easily in both directions. That's quite an issue with some tearaways, they only tear one way. User beware. Finale of this story is she vows never to use any other!
NOW, here's the challenge to you all........post a comment about a past success story of your own
explaining what Stabilizer you liked using and why it rose to the occasion that you too may have been having problems with. I will select one little story and award the winner some Stabilizers as the next
FREE GIVEAWAY CHALLENGE.
C'mon everyone, get the chat lines buzzing!
