Wall Quilts from Canberra Quilters

Wall Quilts are a great way to display your talents using so many varied techniques whilst decorating your house.  If on display in the living area of your house, then everyone visiting your home may admire.
At the recent Craft & Quilt Fair held in our National Capital, Canberra Quilters had many on display. Here are the winners:

First Place in the Wall Quilt (Professional) was awarded to NOBUKO MIYAKE for "Bottles".  

It also won an award for Excellence in Hand Quilting.

Somehow I missed 2nd Place, but Third Place in the Wall Quilt (Professional) was awarded to 

CINDY WATKINS for her "Blue Wren".

Third Place in the Wall Quilt (non-professional) was awarded to 

JOANNA BARRACLOUGH for her 17-5641 "Colour of the Year".

Sorry for the colour difference in my close-up but it does show the magnificent quilting done.

Third Place in the Art Quilt (Open) was awarded to 

HELEN GODDEN for her "Canberra".

Notice the detail of the quilting, every section is different.
