Come to the Darling Harbour Show

Australia's biggest craft event is here.
The Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair - now on!
The Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair opened its doors to thousands of visitors yesterday, all keen to join in the fun and excitement at the country's biggest craft event.
We were certainly busy and the public were thrilled with so many new displays. Such as happy atmosphere! If you live within travelling distance, THIS is the ONE Show not to be missed.  So many workshops both as lectures and hands on as well as the inspiring Quilts on display.
 Come visit us on Stand A09
PUNCH WITH JUDY
Judy Newman, from Expertise Events (the show organizers) said today "Visitors revelled in the prospect of shopping bliss as over 230 exhibitors displayed new products for sewing, embroidery, jewellery making, papercraft and much more! They explored the creations to be seen in our studios and put their new-found inspiration into high gear in a great selection of Workshops and Craft Circles.
The NSW Quilters' Guild Annual Quilt Show exhibition dazzled onlookers while the AP&Q AQC Challenge Quilt winners and finalists were a joy to behold. Guest Artist Sharyn Hall's fabric creations were another experience not to be missed and everyone jumped at the chance to meet her and see her dyeing and painting techniques.
Features new to the fair were warmly welcomed. Ask It - Solve It gave people an opportunity to have their craft queries and quandaries looked at by experts and solved. Cutting-edge products and the latest developments in craft technology went on parade at the CraftTech display area, where visitors were shown how to use the latest gadgets and gizmos by exhibitors."

Other exciting features include:
*Sydney BEAD FAIR
*Best of Australia Quilts display
* Texstyle display
*Special Guests – Jenny Bowker, Sue Daley, Darlene Pollard, Julie Paterson and Monica Pool
* Felt Studio with Wendy Bailye

Gary Fitz-Roy, Managing Director of Expertise Events, is indeed a Jack-Of-All-Trades and not unusual for him to help out wherever needed to keep things running smoothly for all Exhibitors.  On set up day, the Cafe sent out an SOS plea as only one member of their staff was present to feed us all.  Gary jumped in to help, ably cooking the chips amidst a lot of heckling from the hungry line of exhibitors waiting in a queue.  Mmmm, the chips were perfectly cooked and hot, hot, hot!
